Accelerated demand proposal of Rs 5 crore approved for Akola district

Akola : Under Akola district general plan, an allocation of Rs 8.5 crore is approved.  In addition, a proposal for an additional Rs 1 crore 9 lakh was approved as per the demand of the district administration and now a budget of Rs 6 crore 19 lakh has been approved for the district.  Apart from this, a separate proposal should be made for the development of the fort coconut in the district, Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Ajit Pawar, said here today.
 A meeting was held in Amravati today at the state level meeting to finalize the draft plans of the general district annual plan 1-3 approved by the district planning committee.  The meeting was chaired by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance and Planning Minister Naejit Pawar.  The meeting was attended by the guardian minister of Akola district, namely Om Prakash alias Bachchu Kadu, guardian minister of Buldana, Rajendra Shingne, guardian minister of Amravati, Yashomati Thakur, Legislative council member M Gopishan Bajoria, additional chief secretary Devashish Chakraborty, divisional commissioner Piyush Singh, district collector Jatpal.  Chief Executive Officer in-charge of the Council, Suraj Guhad, Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Kapadnis,  Nitrogen DNYANESHWAR ambekara officer, chief officer were present in different systems.
 At this time, District Magistrate Papalkar submitted a draft of the District Annual Plan.  In view of the increased demand proposals, a demand of Rs.  Additional demand was approved for the development of paanand roads in the district for Rs. 1 crore, other Rs. 5 crore and Rs. 4 crore for police vehicles.  Apart from this, additional funds will be provided for tourism development at Fort Narnala in the district.
 District Annual Plan Outline is funded according to the District Population, Area and Human Development Index.  Accordingly, the plans have been approved, said Pawar.
